Exchange and Refund Policies

Refund or Exchange of a Defective Item

All items sold at Boutique Planète Bébé are guaranteed against manufacturing defects. For an exchange or refund of a defective or non-compliant product, you must visit the store with the receipt and the product in its original packaging within 14 days. If the purchase was made online, you must notify us by phone or email within 14 days from the date on the original receipt. We will provide you with an authorization number. Any defective or non-compliant item will be refunded, replaced, or exchanged, free of charge, by Boutique Planète Bébé or the product manufacturer. The item must be returned in its original packaging with the original receipt and the authorization number within 14 days of receiving our authorization. In the case of a defective item, we will cover the return shipping as well as the shipping for the exchange item, provided you have the authorization number.

Exchange of a Non-Defective Item

If an item does not suit you, it can be exchanged for any other available item in the store, or you can request a store credit equivalent to the value of your purchase. You must visit the store with the receipt and the item in its original packaging, tagged, unworn, unwashed, and unused within a maximum of 14 days.

For an exchange of an online purchase, all return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. You must notify Boutique Planète Bébé in advance, by phone or email, to ensure that the items to be exchanged are in stock, within 14 days from the date on the original receipt. We will provide you with an authorization number. The item must be returned in its original packaging, along with the original receipt and the authorization number, within 14 days of receiving the authorization from Boutique Planète Bébé. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to the store and the cost of shipping the replacement item. You can also visit the store at Les Promenades Gatineau to make your exchange, free of charge, within 14 days from the date on the original receipt. There will be no refund of shipping charges.

If there was an error made at the time of ordering, you are responsible for the shipping costs to exchange the product. However, if the error was made by Boutique Planète Bébé or our carrier, we will cover the shipping costs for the exchange. All requests must be made within 5 days of receiving your order.

It is not possible to exchange or refund personal care products, cloth diapers, swimwear, pacifiers, bottles, baby carriers, bras, or any type of underwear for hygiene reasons.

For items that can be exchanged according to our policies and that are offered as Christmas gifts and purchased from November 30 onward, you can visit the store in person until January 9. However, no exchanges will be allowed on December 24, 26, and 27.

Conditions Applicable to Promotions, Clearance Products, and Other Discounts

Promotions always apply only to selected products while supplies last. These are final sales with no possibility of exchange or refund. No special orders or reservations. We reserve the right to change the conditions without notice. Sale items cannot be combined with any other promotion, and no price adjustments will be made on previous invoices.

Refunds

In the exceptional case of a refund with the authorization of Boutique Planète Bébé, a fixed processing fee of $15, as well as shipping costs for the original shipment and return shipment, will be charged. The exact amount will be confirmed before any refund is processed. Refusal to accept these administrative fees will result in the cancellation of the pre-authorized refund, and our exchange policies will apply as described above.

Special Orders

Special orders must be paid for at the time of reservation and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Gift Cards

Gift cards can be purchased online and in-store. They can be used across all our platforms, at the user’s choice. All gift card sales are final.

Order Cancellation by Boutique Planète Bébé

Boutique Planète Bébé reserves the right to cancel and refund any online order. An automated cancellation email and the refund for your order will be processed through your original payment method.
