Interview
The most important step before using your stretchy wrap is to WASH it!
Although our fabric is pre-washed, the manufacturing process is not complete until the fiber has swollen, filling the space provided in the fabric. Not washing your fabric before its first use leaves empty spaces between the stitches, which weakens the fabric and also increases the risk of the fibers shifting and the risk of premature wear.
SOAP
A mild soap, without optical brightener (whitening agent), without fabric softener.
Baby soaps are not recommended.
No powdered soap (powder residue can damage the fabric fiber).
Rinse the soap well if it is not a no-rinse soap.
WASHING
We recommend hand washing in cold water. However, our scarves are machine washable on a delicate cycle.
DRYING
We recommend hanging to dry, taking care to wring out well. Avoid putting Maman Kangourou stretchy wraps in the dryer, as this can damage the elastic fiber.
