A little gem for those who dream of a luminous complexion and smoother skin, without compromise.

Bakuchiol is generating a lot of buzz, and rightly so. This plant extract derived from babchi seeds has carved out a prime spot as a natural alternative to retinol. While delivering remarkable results, it's gentle on the skin and non-photosensitizing, making it a simple and pleasant addition to any skincare routine.

Why we love it so much:

  • A boost for collagen: it promotes skin regeneration, helps smooth texture, revives radiance and reduces wrinkles, fine lines and age spots.

  • A shield against everyday life: it helps the skin defend itself against the effects of the sun and pollution, two factors known to accelerate skin aging.

  • A friend to blemish-prone skin: purifying and antibacterial, it helps prevent the appearance of pimples, soothes inflammation and reduces sebum oxidation — a little extra to reduce the appearance of blackheads.

  • Easy to use: as it is not photosensitizing, you can enjoy its benefits morning and evening, with ease.

A natural, effective and gentle way to take care of your skin, day after day.

Usage & Dosage

*CAUTION: Do not use directly on the skin

Our bakuchiol is water-soluble. Therefore, it dissolves in water, aqueous ingredients (hydrosols, aloe vera juice and gel), and in emulsified (pre-made) moisturizing cream. See the "How to Use It" tab for our ideas on how to easily take advantage of its amazing properties.

Dosage: Our bakuchiol should be used at a concentration of 1 to 3% in recipes where it is incorporated or added, but the following guidelines will be helpful:

Face: 0.5 to 1%
Eye contour: 0.1 to 0.5%
Body: 1 to 3%
Good to know: 1 ml = 1 g = 32 drops. Example: if you add bakuchiol to a 50 ml moisturizing cream at a concentration of 1%, you need to add 0.5 ml of bakuchiol (50 ml x 1% = 0.5 ml), or 16 drops.

It is not oil-soluble. It should not be mixed with an oil-based serum or facial butter.

When manufacturing moisturizing creams, it is added during the cooling phase.

It is recommended to test the finished product in the crook of the elbow before using it to ensure that our skin does not show any signs of sensitivity to this botanical extract.
